About Benue State Commission for Peace and Reconciliation
The Benue State Commission for Peace and Reconciliation is a statutory body established under the 2022 Benue State Peace and Reconciliation Law to promote peaceful coexistence and social cohesion across Benue State.
The Commission works to prevent, mediate, and resolve conflicts through inclusive dialogue, early warning, and community-driven approaches, in collaboration with government institutions, traditional and religious leaders, civil society, and security agencies.
It is committed to building a peaceful, secure, and stable Benue State where harmony and development can thrive.
